Las Vegas – October 17, 2012 – KloudData Inc. was declared the winner of the SAP Mobile Apps Partner Challenge at SAP® TechEd 2012 Las Vegas, following the “Mobile Jumpstart,” during which it demonstrated its mobile-MedRecords (mMR) mobile app. Earlier, KloudData was shortlisted as one of the three finalists in the competition by a jury comprising industry analysts and influencers and SAP experts in enterprise mobility. At the finale, held during the Demo Jam at SAP TechEd in Las Vegas, an enthusiastic live audience voted KloudData as the winner. KloudData showcased its mMR app with a solution for physicians and clinicians to deliver connected care, with-real time updates both from and to the back-end system.
This competition is one of several new initiatives of the SAP Mobile Apps Partner program, aimed at helping SAP partners build and deliver vibrant mobile apps to address customer needs. The live audience voted for their favorite apps based on utility, innovation, customer value and user interface. The mMR and mFSE apps scored high points on all parameters.
“The mMR app applies enterprise mobile technology to the healthcare sector to improve patient care,” said Prashant Prarekh, CEO, KloudData, upon winning the challenge. “We are similarly committed to making world-class apps for better end user and customer satisfaction in all areas.”
KloudData’s mMR app mobilizes electronic patient records to enable doctors to deliver better-informed patient care and patient outcomes at any time, from anywhere. The app not only displays data from the back-end clinical, hospital records and imaging systems, but also allows doctors to modify the line of treatment or prescribe new tests, all from their iOS or Android handheld devices. mMR is now available in the SAP Store. “We applaud KloudData for being chosen as the winner of the 2012 SAP Mobile Apps Partner Challenge, North America,” said Bernd-Uwe Pagel, senior vice president, Platform Ecosystem and eChannels, SAP. “Through the North American challenge, we have seen some impressive apps from our partners, delivering a rich and diverse set of packaged mobile apps that address a broad spectrum of business needs for customers. KloudData’s mMR app demonstrated strong functionality combined with a simple, easy-to-navigate user interface leveraging the SAP mobile platform to integrate with SAP and non-SAP healthcare solutions.”
The SAP Mobile Apps Partner program offers partners a comprehensive set of enablement tools, benefits and end-to-end support to help them develop, market, and sell mobile apps that meet customers’ needs. The program also delivers a cost-effective starter package for development licenses, access to an extensive community of developers and certification of mobile apps, as well as the ability for partners to market and sell their apps via SAP Store.
“KloudData is glad to have been part of this special initiative from SAP,” said Miten Mehta, co-founder and COO, KloudData. “We are extremely happy to have leveraged the enablement program to the max.
